Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant experience at the Grand Hilarium Hotel. The staff was exceptionally warm and always ready to assist, making my stay feel special. However, the room sizes were smaller than anticipated, and I found the bathrooms needed a bit of renovation. Overall, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring Istanbul, but I wish the rooms had better soundproofing.
My stay at the Grand Hilarium Hotel was a blend of pleasant experiences and a few drawbacks. The staff, especially Erol and Hasan, were incredibly helpful and made my time enjoyable. However, I found the internet connection to be frustratingly slow and the swimming pool water was rather cold. The Turkish-style breakfast was satisfying, though the room size was smaller than expected.
I spent a week at the Grand Hilarium Hotel, and while I appreciated the friendly staff and the convenient location near key attractions, the small room size was a bit of a letdown. The cleanliness was inconsistent, particularly in the bathrooms, which really need renovation. Overall, it was reasonably priced given its proximity to many sites, but I expected more from a hotel that markets itself as 4 stars.
I spent 6 nights at the Grand Hilarium Hotel and had a mix of good and bad experiences. The staff, particularly reception members like Hasan, were wonderfully polite and eager to help. However, my room initially faced a narrow alley with no ventilation, so I had to switch to a better room with a lovely view of the Bosporus. The noise from the street was a bit constant, but the location was perfect for exploring with easy access to trams and eateries nearby.
My stay at the Grand Hilarium Hotel was a blend of positives and negatives. The location was fantastic, allowing me to explore nearby attractions like the Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque within a 20-25 minute walk. However, the breakfast options were quite disappointing and lacked variety. Overall, while the hotel offered a decent experience, there were a few aspects that could use improvement.
